Sweat Equity Privacy Policy

Sweat Equity ("the app") is made by Social Facade, Inc. It is built to keep your personal information on your phone. There is no account or sign-in, we never learn your name, email or which apps and sites you block, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising. The only data that leaves your phone is the anonymous usage, crash and diagnostic information described below.

What the app uses, and where it stays

• Screen Time (iPhone) / Accessibility (Android). The app uses Apple's Screen Time or Android's Accessibility Service only to cover the betting apps and sportsbook websites you choose to lock. On iPhone, Apple gives the app opaque tokens, so we never learn which apps you picked. On Android, the app checks which app is on screen and the address shown in your browser's address bar, and does nothing else with it. Websites you add to your own block list are stored only on your phone. None of this leaves your device.
• Camera. The camera is used only while you're doing reps, to count pushups, knee pushups, squats, lunges, sit-ups, burpees and jumping jacks, and to time a plank or a wall sit. Video is processed on your device in real time and is never recorded, saved or uploaded.
• Your stats (reps by exercise, unlocks, walk-aways, days locked in and personal bests) and your sound settings are stored only on your device. Rep counts are spoken by your phone's built-in voice, on the device. If you share a stats card, you choose where it goes.
• Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active, not your payment details.

Anonymous usage, crash and diagnostic data

To find bugs and understand which features people use, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics on iPhone and Android. They send Google:

• App activity: which screens you open and actions such as starting onboarding, trying the camera demo, viewing or starting a subscription, finishing or quitting a set (the exercise, how many reps and how long it took), walking away from a shield, setting a personal best, reaching a milestone, sharing a stats card, and changing sound settings. It never includes the names of the apps or sites you block, only how many are locked.
• Purchase events: that a subscription was started, completed or failed and which plan. Payment details stay with Apple or Google.
• Crash and diagnostic information: crash logs, error codes, device model, operating-system and app version.
• Identifiers: a random per-installation ID created by Firebase. We don't use advertising identifiers (IDFA or the Android advertising ID) and don't link this data to you.

On Android, the pose detection that counts your reps also comes from Google's ML Kit, which sends Google similar diagnostic information (device model, Android version, app version, a per-installation identifier, and performance and error data about the pose detector). It never includes camera images. The iPhone app counts reps with Apple's on-device Vision framework.

Google processes this data for us as a service provider under its own terms and privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). It is encrypted in transit, kept only as long as needed for analytics, and is not sold, shared with other companies or used for advertising.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-in
• No advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites
• No selling or sharing of your data

Your choices

Your stats, records and settings live only on your phone; deleting the app removes them. The anonymous usage and crash data isn't linked to you, so we can't look it up by person. If you'd like us to try, or have any other privacy question, email us. You can turn the camera, Screen Time or Accessibility permission off at any time in your phone's settings.

Age

Sweat Equity is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at this address.
