Libre Beacon App Support

If you experience any issues with the Libre Beacon app, please send an email to Libre Beacon Support describing the problem.

Be sure to include your device make/model, and a screenshot of the issue if possible. We'll do our best to resolve the issue asap.

Hear a faint beacon of your glucose level in the background so you are constantly aware of your current level and where it's trending BEFORE you reach the annoying CGM warning alarms. This app gives you audible beacon sound that dynamically adjusts to your current blood sugar level and whether it's steady, rising/falling or rising/falling quickly. As you become familiar with the beacon, you will learn the beacon's pitch/tone, duration and how it adapts to your current level and where it's trending. For example, if your level is high and falling quickly, you'll hear a high pitch tone that quickly changes to a lower pitch.

For it to work, your phone needs to be connected to the internet, and must be sharing your glucose data to a LibreLinkUp account.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Freestyle Libre app, tap on the profile tab (or go into settings), then tap "Connected Apps".

2. Follow through the "LibreLinkUp" steps to send an invite into the LibreLinkUp app.

3. Download and install the LibreLinkUp app from the app store.

4. Open the LibreLinkUp app and create an account using the same email address you used in step 2.

5. Once you are seeing your glucose info in the LibreLinkUp app, enter the same region and login info above for the account you just created for the LibreLinkUp app.

6. Press "Start Beacon"

If you hear a beep congrats, you did it! You can adjust the settings of the beacon like volume and the time interval.

Your sensor and your apps will continue to work as usual and warranty is not affected.

All data and login credentials are only stored on your device.
